New at SeamLinez

www.seamlinez.com
We recently made couple of additions to our site and  thought it would be best to bring those changes to light. Not too long ago we introduced SeamLinez Plus+, a collection of hard to find boutique style clothing for the full figured. The collection features dresses, tops, bottoms and outerwear by independent designers. Each piece is hand selected for its figure flattering stitch, color, print and fabric.

Check out our Style Files for a complete collection of previous and present outfit ideas.

The second thing we've added to our site is a size chart. The chart can be accessed on our HOME page or under MY WARDROBE at the bottom right hand corner. Please utilize the chart as a tool to help understand and convert sizes.

Last but surely not the least, all shipping within the US and Canada is FREE.

Printed Pants and Solid Tops

This happens to be one of my favorite looks, printed pants and solid colored tops and accessories. The colors blend well with the coming fall season and the fabrics are light, soft, silky and breathable. I find the look to be both playful and conservative  The added blazer, the shape of the pumps and the simplicity of the blouse speaks of seriousness while the paisley print pant and contrasting colors bring the outfit together in a beautiful way.

What to wear: Evening Party

The Heather high-low adds a touch of feminine elegance. This sleeveless high-low formal dress consists of a heavily embellished sequined top with an attached chiffon skirt.

Accessories: Pair up the dress with minimal accessories. Skip the necklace, add some silver/gold bangles and a gold clutch. Match up shoes with accessories.

Hair and Make-up: Wear you hair up for a sexy, sophisticated, professional look or keep your hair down for a fun, warm, friendly look.

Make-up: keep the look natural with a hint of blush. Play up your eyes and use a clear polish for a clean look to the nails.

We've all been told that print on print is a big no no but with the right colors and patterns, the look can be pulled off.

Patterns come in all shapes and sizes. The key is in being able to put together a color pallet. First start off with a color of your choice then decide on the pattern. Treat small patterns as a single, solid color.

I love the look in this picture. A yellow print top against a red and white checkered pant. The printed top in treated as a solid color as the pattern on the pant stand out for its boldness.

The colors are beautifully put together as they compliment each-other.

Color blocking is nothing new. We've all done it and continue to do so. For a great, bold look, try mixing and matching opposite colors. Warms and cools, darks and lights. A color wheel would be a perfect tool to achieve this look.
